I love your photography, Laurie. Glad to see that you're still blogging. I recently went back to Glimpses and found this blog. I miss the way Glimpses used to be, and the old days of blogging!

Just stopping by to say hello! I see you're no longer on Instagram and I have missed your photos. Find me on Instagram to say hello if you dare go back!

Hi Green Guy! I was happy to get this notification! Yes, I'm pretty anti social media these days and my life is better for it. I'm still checking in on Twitter for art and politics -- but in very limited doses. (Read Deep Work, the End of Absence and The Shallows! They changed my life regarding social media!) I'll peak in at your IG. Hope you and Jan are well!

Hey thanks for the book tweet of your list. There are some really interesting books on there I had never heard of before. I also like your photos a lot. I only knew you from your tweets so this is nice to meet you in a way. :-)

Wow, you have great taste in books. I was going to recommend Howard Zinn’s People’s History if you haven’t already read it.

Hi Rosie!

Thank you so much! It's nice to meet you here, too.

Hi Ted!

Howard Zinn's People's History of the US is one of my favorite books, and a must read! (Chris Harmon's People's History of the World is similarly good, and obviously inspired by Zinn. It covers history from struggling people's POV from the Stone Age to present day. It's also a really good audio narration if you're into audio books.)

I wanted to tell you how much I like your photographs. I didn't realize you were still actively blogging. I used to follow you at your South Pasadena blog, which I liked very much. I am happy to see that you are still making such beautiful art with your camera.
